Radial Cusp Face Technology (RCFT)
The putter’s face pattern is optimized to contact the ball with minimal friction through Radial Cusp Face Technology (RCFT). Through precise CNC milling of the face, individual intersectional nexuses are created with a near point-like structure. Because of the cusps’ radial profile, the force of the ball that impacts the face evenly distributes into the putter body while not “sticking” to the ball through traditional V or straight grooves.
Makefield’s Radial Cusp Face Technology (RCFT) incorporates our patented CNC milling which results in a reduction in ball-to-face friction and provides the lowest skid-to-roll numbers in the industry. Since putter face alignment is regarded as the single most important factor in putting success, even a millisecond too long of contact on the putter face can alter the starting direction of the golf ball according to a player's individual stroke/torque relationship.
Industry leading analytical programming provided by Quintic (www.quinticballroll.com) has shown that skid-to-roll factors in putting contribute upwards of 92% towards a successful putt. Simply put, the faster a ball gets rolling consistently off a putter’s face, instead of skidding off line, the more putts will be holed.
