Sir Issac Newton defined inertia as the tendency of a body to remain in motion in a straight line UNLESS it is acted upon by an unbalanced force.

In putter mechanics the “unbalancing forces” are grip pressure, putter path and acceleration that create negative inertial conditions or TORQUE. A player can remove torque from the putter but once a putter is put in motion each individual player creates their own “torque profile”.  This “torque profile” includes grip pressure, putter path and acceleration. Therefore each player has a unique putting path that has its own “path of inertia”.

Makefield offers the most flexible weighting system in the industry through its putter designs AND in combination with the X-3 weighting system which works with each player’s profile to provide the best chance at true rolling putts that start online- EVERY TIME- more putts on the proper path mean more putts are holed more frequently!

Path of Inertia naturally guides your stroke, balances the club face to the path, and provides centeredness of impact to produce an immediate, consistent roll that lowers your golf scores.
